MoGuide.com launched to deliver mobile sound guides for gardens, galleries, mansions and museums.
Firebaud today launched the MoGuide.com website to deliver mp3 mobile sound guides for gardens, galleries, mansions and museums. The Harrogate Floral Trail Sound Guide is their first project. Now owners of iPods, mp3 players and mobile phones with music players may download an hour of audio narrative following eleven Listen Points around the famous gold medal winning gardens of this Yorkshire town.
Many people of all ages now own iPods and other mp3 players. More and more mobile phones incorporate mp3 music players and in number mobile phones now exceed the ownership of fixed line phones in Britain. MoGuide expect many visitor attractions to seek an audio presence on the innovative MoGuide download site.
Narratives may be compiled and spoken by a team of professionals or by the attraction owners themselves. Music players may also be loaded at visitor and tourist information centres. Owners of visitor attractions who are interested in a sound guide for their establishment are invited to get in touch .
MoGuide was the brainchild of Tony Sissons, UK Associate of Sisley Garden Tours, tour operators since 1993. Specialising in tours for overseas visitors to gardens and stately homes throughout Britain, Ireland and northern Europe, Tony is uniquely qualified to equip a list of interesting places with audio guides for people to access with their own mp3 devices.
Asked about Firebaud, Tony said "Firebaud are genius and very professional. They grasped immediately what we needed and had a complete site designed for us fast. We were up and running in no time with no significant need for changes".
